[audit/critical] Resolve 500-vs-103 title ↔ content mismatch #1

Description

@Displacedtex

Priority: Critical

Problem

The repo title promises "500 + AI/ML/DL/CV/NLP Projects" but README.md contains only 103 entries (line 116 reads "More Projects list is coming..."). Several entries are themselves meta-lists (e.g. row 38 "1000+ Python Projects"), so the 500 count is inflated through aggregation.

This is a credibility risk: visitors expecting 500 curated entries find ~103, many of which are link-lists.

Options

  • (a) Rename to something like "Curated AI/ML/CV/NLP Project Links" and let it grow organically.
  • (b) Keep the title but add an honest subtitle: "103 curated entries linking to 500+ projects".
  • (c) Actually curate to 500 unique entries before promising that number.

Acceptance criteria

  • Title accurately reflects current content, or a subtitle provides accurate framing.

Part of the repo audit backlog.
