Excuse me, how do I even use this? Newest Python doesn't work? #12

Hello there, it's my first time using python, and apparently I've got some issues. I'd love to use the villages mod, but it doesn't seem to work for me. I've installed the newest Python (3.7?) and whenever I execute the install.py the command window pops up for a split second, then closes all by itself so I can't even read whether there are some errors showing up or not. Do I need to install some libraries for it to work or am I doing something wrong?
