Affected Theme
- Name: SuperPins
- Version 1.7.0
Affected Theme Settings
Zen Version: 1.19.5b
System OS: Linux/Fedora Workstation 43
Describe the bug
After updating Zen Browser to version 1.19.5b, I encountered a visual regression when using the SuperPins mod. When the mod is active (especially with settings that enlarge icons), website favicons and "Essentials" icons lose their clarity and become blurry or pixelated. This issue was not present in version 1.19.4b, suggesting the recent browser update changed how the mod's scaling interacts with icon rendering.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Use Zen Browser (v1.19.5b).
- Enable the SuperPins mod (v1.7.0).
- Ensure settings that "Size of tabs favicons" are active.
- Observe the icon quality on the sidebar in Essentials section.
Expected behavior
Website icons should maintain high quality and crispness even when enlarged or modified by SuperPins, consistent with the behavior in Zen Browser v1.19.4b.

No Bug (v1.19.5b - Mod Disabled): View screenshot
Additional context
The issue seems specifically tied to a regression between these two Zen Browser commits:
Working: ffd47e0 (1.19.4b)
Broken: 31ed571 (1.19.5b)
It appears the browser's handling of icon scaling/interpolation has changed in the latest update, causing the mod's resizing logic to result in blurriness. I had also reported this as an issue in ZenBrowser, but they informed me that it was not a problem with them, but rather related to the mod developers.
