Description
Context / Motivation
This ticket covers the redesign of the remaining core components of the Grant experience, building directly on top of the new Grant Card Component. The goal is to complete the main Grant View so users can easily browse, filter, search, and manage grants while clearly understanding whether they are viewing All Grants or My Grants.
This is a critical ticket. The Grant View is the most frequently used area of the product, and most users will primarily interact with My Grants, so hierarchy, clarity, and discoverability are essential.
Scope
Main Grant View Layout
Build off the existing Grant Card Component to complete the full Grant View
Grant cards live on the left panel between the sidebar and expanded view
The first grant in the list should be expanded by default on page load
Include clear pagination for navigating long grant lists
Tabs / Views
Include clearly accessible:
-- All Grants
-- My Grants
Emphasize My Grants visually, as this will be the primary view for most users
It should always be obvious which view the user is currently in
Search
Include search input at the top of the Grant View
Design full search flows:
-- Empty state
-- Active search
-- No results state
Search behavior should assume users can search by any string that matches grant fields
(confirm logic with Rohan if needed)
Filters
Include a filter control with a completed pop-up / expanded state design
Filters must allow sorting by:
-- Grant amount
-- Application due date
-- Eligibility (BCAN qualification)
-- Organization / client name
-- Status
Filter UI should be intuitive and not overly complex
Include clear apply / reset behavior
Expanded Grant View
Expanded view displays all grant fields in a scrollable, digestible layout
Reference the old expanded view to ensure no fields are omitted
Include:
-- Close
-- Edit
-- Delete actions
Cost-benefit analysis should appear at the very bottom of the expanded view
-- This can live in a sub-section or sub-tab if necessary
-- Keep in mind this feature is primarily used by Hessann
Delete Grant Flow
Include delete confirmation flow:
-- Secondary pop-up modal
-- Clear confirmation and cancel actions
My Grants View
Complete full My Grants view designs
Functionally identical to All Grants, but scoped to grants the user is responsible for
Acceptance Criteria
Grant View layout is fully designed using the new Grant Card Component
Users can clearly:
-- Switch between All Grants and My Grants
-- Search grants
-- Filter grants using an intuitive UI
Expanded Grant View includes all fields from the legacy version in a non-congested layout
Cost-benefit analysis is visually separated and placed at the end of the expanded view
Delete confirmation flow is clearly defined
Pagination is present and visually consistent with the redesign
Designs are hi-fi, desktop-first, and developer-ready
