Is a `multiselect` parameter type needed?

I am planning to remove the `multiselect` parameter type in 0.2 as there are very few use-cases for it and implementation is complicated and annoying on many platforms.
This issue exists as a note to maybe revisit this topic in the future, should the need arise.
