Make a install procedure, including boot/partition creation

I have some questions about installing OS image into device:

1. is there some GUI which allows to connect to device and install OS in the uniform way for different devices?
2. what are minimal requirements for device to install the OS (are 128MB RAM enough?)
3. is there some tutorial on how to prepare for deployment with Qemu (i.e. install on virtual device)?
