Android Faker v2.0.0-beta-9 does not work on Android 16

The new version of the Android Faker app v2.0.0-beta-9 does not work on Android 16. When tapping to open the app, a white screen appears and shortly after the app closes by itself.

First, I apologize for the PayPal claim. I read the XDA forum and was led to believe you were a scammer based on messages I received of other users.

I also have Android 16, and the app instantly closes when I launch it. As soon as it's fixed, I'll buy a subscription. Thanks in advance.

I understand its very easy to mislead when people spread false rumour about someone and as a developer it's very hurtful if you work on something by putting all your efforts and people start to calling you scammer but i glad people are now understanding and now let's some to your issue i have to test in version android 16 if you can provide some logs it will very helpful for me.

This error show in logs are about hooking telephonymanger class mean some method of telephony manger class can't be hooked maybe because that method are not exits in your operating system it not about that issue which you mention of white screen

Thanks a lot... actually i don't know how to copy. I have attached the full zip for your record. hope it can help to find.. i try 2 phones (both moto brands also on android 14 ) seems also open the app and then crash.

for your info. it crash only when i enable the "fingerprint" function, i tried various model and brand and still crash. changing the device ID looks okay.. but i think fingerprint is really the thing I need.

I can confirm this issue also occurs on Android 9 (API 28) on LDPlayer emulator.

Comparison: Beta-8 vs Beta-9 (Same Machine, Same Environment)

Beta-8 opens fine (with separate WiFi crash issue #190). Beta-9 doesn't open at all - a regression.

• DEX CRC check passes every time (dexCrc = 1115966909)
• No Java exception, no stack trace
• Signal 9 (SIGKILL) = native code calling kill()
• Each process dies ~350-440ms after CRC check
• Loop repeats until Android stops restarting

🔍 What This Means

The native library libaf_native.so was completely rewritten between beta-8 and beta-9:

• 71% smaller = major code changes or recompilation
• Contains anti-tampering/security checks (based on decompilation analysis)
• May include checks for:
  • Frida/Xposed detection
  • APK signature verification
  • App modification detection
  • Environment/emulator detection

The SIGKILL happens AFTER CRC check passes = additional security check(s) failing

📝 Note

Since the native source code is compiled, I'm unable to identify which specific check is triggering the SIGKILL.

I suspect the issue is in the rewritten libaf_native.so - would you mind reviewing the changes made to the native library between beta-8 and beta-9? This may help you debug the issue faster.
