ATMakers hid-remapper Repository Goals

Hi folks,

This fork is meant to serve two purposes:

1. As the ATMakers community finds ways to use the HID-Remapper project (by @jfedor2) for assistive tech projects, we will discussion and coordinate here. The Discussions area is the best place to have chats that are related to how to modify this project to fit our needs. General community discussions and requests for help should still start in the Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/ATMakers so that AT users can find us via their support groups.
2. Changes to the HID-Remapper software can be tested and tweaked here with merges back to @jfedor2's master repository only after we've worked out the kinks. That project is not AT-focused, and we don't want to derail their very real goals.

As for which areas of the repository to use for what, here are my thoughts:

• Issues Primary place for reporting problems with the code base or requesting and tracking changes that are requested.
• Discussions Area to discuss ideas on how to approach HID remapping for AT purposes. For example, a new algorithm or filter might be discussed. Or, the results of a user of the software might be documented. Admins will create tags for common areas (for example an early tag will certainly be "tremors").
• Wiki Long term repository of semi-curated content. A place to collect research results about essential tremors, alternative devices and other topics. One way to distinguish between Discussions and Wiki is "Would this information be useful to people that are not using this software?" If the answer is yes, take the time to add it to the Wiki (and keep it up to date)
