As discussed on Discord, I am submitting my design for the AOSSIE Website Redesign.

Design Strategy:

Focused on a professional foundation look (Minimalist + Dark/Light modes).

Included a Quantified Stats Section (500+ Contributors, 70+ Projects) to showcase AOSSIE’s global scale, aligning with Bruno's vision.

Status: Currently refining the Dark Mode version. I am fine-tuning the contrast ratios and font weights to ensure perfect accessibility and readability before final implementation

I noticed others have shared their designs as well — great to see multiple perspectives. My approach focuses on stronger visual hierarchy, consistent light/dark theming, and motion-ready components for a more modern and scalable foundation website.

My approach includes:
Modern UI Refresh: Introduced a clean layout with glassmorphism elements and soft gradients to create a contemporary open-source aesthetic.
Improved Visual Hierarchy: Structured the page flow as Hero → Mission → Impact Metrics → Projects → Call-to-Action to guide users logically.
Stronger Brand Emphasis: Enhanced the hero section to highlight AOSSIE’s identity and open-source focus more prominently.

If this direction aligns with AOSSIE’s expectations, I will proceed to implement it in code.
Please confirm if any additional sections (GSoC, Projects, Contributors, etc.) need redesigning as part of this issue.

Here's my approach for the redesign:

1. Cleaner and Modern UI Design : Simplifying the design for a modern elegant and minimal look that suits the website since AOSSIE is an open-source, contributor-driven organization that focuses on software projects, collaboration, and community-driven development, It's currently missing that Professional vibe.

2. UX Enhancements : Redesign will not only be limited to just UI changes we're also gonna make changes that enhances the user experience, One change that I already made and tested is Navbar Positioning that I shifted to bottom and changed the theme to modern neumorphism along with smooth animations, Find the attached screenshot at the bottom and further changes are under development.

3. Future-Ready Architecture : The current website's modules are depreciated , most of them are not even supported , if you permit the website will be future proofed with current tech stack and a performance boost is guaranteed.

@hamzanazir27 I looked over your designs, they look incomplete. Is this a minimal version meant to show a vision of sorts? If so, I think the design is a little too similar to the existing one, in the sense, that it wouldn't be worth the effort to overhaul it. Designs should focus on making the website more interactive and representative of modern technologies.

@Muneerali199 Your design also is very incomplete and does not follow the colour palette of AOSSIE either. Additionally, it lacks elements which would otherwise be useful to give more detailed feedback.

@smmuskan140 while I do like the use of Liquid Glass-esque elements, I think the design is too "bold" and "loud" for what AOSSIE's landing page should be. I would recommend trying a more minimalist design.

@PriyanshuChoudhary09 The link isn't a public view link and I cannot see the drive files due to access permission issues.
