Best substitute for smooth smooth_l2_log loss?

I really liked this config and got great results with it, but the removal of smooth_l2_log made it obsolete. I've tried a number of other loss types, but they all seem to latch onto tiny details in the dataset such as artifacts way more and I'm kinda lost on what hyper parameters to tune to change that.

Hey @Fear-in-a-hand-full-of-dust , I added it back just now, wasn't aware anyone was using it, I had removed it as I wasn't sure of the value.
